Welcome To Gosforth Garden Village Lawn Bowls Club

 

The Club was established in1928 when the original community pavilion was built and continues to this day.

 

Our bowls season runs from April to mid-September during which in addition to social bowls, we play in 3 evening bowls leagues being the Knight League, Clegg League and

the Public Utilities League.

 

The Club also participates in two afternoon leagues being the Parliamentary League on

the Thursday and in a Friday Friendly League in addition to a number of friendly games

with other clubs throughout the season as well as holding internal club competitions.

The Club is open to both men and women and we are looking for new members for the

2023 season. Both beginners or experienced players would be made most welcome at

our friendly club and coaching by qualified coaches can be provided if required.

Bowling Times

​

From the green opening day on 1st April, the bowling green is open to members 7 days

a week between the hours of 10.30 am to 9.00 pm to mid September.
